Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data CloneMedia collects through this website, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we are

CloneMedia is a sole proprietorship registered in India (Udyam registration UDYAM-KR-11-0111345), based in Mangalore, Karnataka. We make short-form social media videos for businesses. For the purposes of the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary for the data described below. You can reach us at gictormedia@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you request a free sample. The form on this site asks for your name, email address, phone number, your Instagram or social profile link, roughly what you spend on content today, and what currently stops you posting. It also lets you upload a short selfie video and a voice recording. The video and voice recording are the material we use to build your sample, and they contain your image and your voice.

You may leave the form part-way through. If you have already entered contact details at that point, we keep them so we can follow up.

When you book a call. Booking uses an embedded Cal.com calendar. Your name, email and chosen time go to Cal.com and to us.

Automatically. If you arrived from an advertisement, we record the campaign parameters in the link you clicked so we know which ad brought you. Our host records standard server logs, including IP address, for security and reliability.

The Meta Pixel

This site loads the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It records that you viewed a page, that you reached the second step of the sample form, and that you completed it. We use this to measure which advertisements work and to show ads to people who have visited before.

We have Meta’s automatic advanced matching enabled. This means details you type into the form, such as your email address and phone number, are converted into an irreversible hash inside your browser and sent to Meta in that form, so Meta can tell whether you are the person who saw an ad. We do not send Meta your video or voice recording, and we never send it your unhashed contact details.

If you would rather this did not happen, you can block trackers in your browser or use its private mode. The sample form works normally either way, and refusing has no effect on whether we make your sample.

Why we use it

• To build and send you the free sample video you asked for.
• To contact you about that sample and about working together.
• To measure which advertisements produce enquiries, and to advertise to visitors.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone except the processors listed below.

Consent

You give us your details voluntarily by filling in the form, and that submission is your consent to us using them for the purposes above. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not undo anything already done, and if you withdraw before we have made your sample we will stop and delete what you sent.

Who else sees your data

We use these services, and your data passes through them:

• Google — form submissions are stored in Google Sheets, and your uploaded video and voice recording are stored in Google Drive.
• Meta Platforms — advertising measurement, as described above.
• Cal.com — only if you book a call.
• Vercel — hosts this website and keeps server logs.
• Cloudflare — sits in front of the site for security and speed.

Some of these are based outside India and your data may be stored on servers outside India.

How long we keep it

Contact details and form answers: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Selfie videos and voice recordings: deleted within 12 months of your request, or immediately if you ask. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for as long as we work together and for any period the law requires afterwards.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who we have shared it with.
• Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.

Email gictormedia@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Grievances

Complaints about how we handle your data go to the same address, gictormedia@gmail.com, marked for the attention of the Grievance Officer.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
